Like a black comet streaking across the drive-in skies and sexploitation big screens, foxy, funky and furious African American actress Juanita Brown appeared like a flash of midnight illumination, and just as suddenly she was gone. She didn’t leave without making a lasting impression on our loins though, starting with her first skin-ful flick The Roommates (1973). Here you can find Juanita playing the role of “Orgy Girl” who goes topless with a handful of other hot broads during…you guessed it…an orgy! Low-brow aesthetes in the year 1974 were uplifted by visions of Juanita almost everywhere they looked, especially if they looked at Willie Dynamite (1974), Foxy Brown (1974), Black Street (1974) or Caged Heat (1974). In Heat, Juanita went the skin-ful and sinful route again about 25 minutes into the film. You can see her bodacious boobs looking perky and perfect as she showers in prison. It’s truly a fantasy come true. The caramel-colored sass-pot went far, and she went fast, but, alas, at a pace that couldn’t last. Her last sexy role came with Black Starlet (1974). No, she wasn’t naked at any point, but some specimens are so hot that their mere presence onscreen will pitch a tent in your pants. In 1977 Brown took a bit role on the boob tube in the series Police Story, followed by her last appearance onscreen as the character “Anna” in Playa azul (1982). It was very fun while it lasted, Juanita, but it turns out all good things come to end. Luckily we got to come a few times before it ended!
